Le Tremblay is situated in the southwestern part of Burgundy, a region celebrated for its stunning natural landscapes, rich historical and feudal heritage, and genuine rural allure.
The Château sits within picturesque natural surroundings, boasting breathtaking landscape views and fields where horses and sheep graze. The presence of these animals adds a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere to the estate.
The Keep, the principal structure, dates back to the mid-1400s, during the latter period of the Hundred Years' War. Its robust construction features walls approximately 1.5 meters thick and rounded exterior corners, topped with a closed machicolation, a characteristic defensive feature. An extension, designed in the Neo-gothic style, was added in the 1800s after the property was acquired by the ancestors of the present owners.
The two main buildings, the Keep and the Extension, each have four floors. The main floor comprises three living rooms, a dining room, and a small library. The second and third floors house a total of sixteen bedrooms and long hallways that exude a historical ambiance.
Overlooking the Morvan mountains, the Château provides an enchanting vista of the unspoiled rural landscape. The nearby Canal du Nivernais further enhances the area's charm, offering delightful opportunities for leisurely strolls and appreciation of the region's natural beauty.
About Château Du Tremblay
The CO Founders
I am the creator and CO founder of Château du Tremblay.
My Name is Lua, I come from Denmark and have been living in France since 2023.
As a kid i spend a lot of summers at summer camps in the Danish countryside, both mixed camps but also camps for girls only. And this is some of the best summers memories I have as a kid.
When growing up we often forget to let go, relax and enjoy the moment, and that is why i came up with the idea of creating this summer camp for women. To give women a chance to connect with nature, meet new people and create long lasting memories.

I am the CO founder of Château du Tremblay.
My name is Louis, and although I've spent most of my life in Paris, Le Tremblay holds a very special place in my heart. It was the cherished home of my grandparents, and we feel the best way to honor their memory is to ensure this wonderful place continues to thrive. I have many fond memories of organizing numerous weekends and holidays at the Château, welcoming large gatherings of friends and family.
Growing up, I also had the opportunity to participate in many memorable summer camps, both in France and internationally.
I am now thrilled to embark on the creation of this summer camp alongside my girlfriend, Lua. This project will allow me to dedicate even more of my time and affection to this enduring family haven.
